Nukunuku is a brick-and-mortar nightlife venue in Ikebukuro that offers a uniquely Japanese entertainment experience for patrons 18 and older. In Japanese, it is referred to as a “viewing club” or “viewing bar,” and for international visitors, it is marketed as a “Japanese-Style Strip Club.”
The core of the experience consists of private booths for each guest and performances viewed through one-way mirrors. We have created a space where guests can enjoy the show without physical contact with the performers and without worrying about those around them.
Rather than limiting ourselves to the business name “Observation Club,” we aim to convey this experience as a form of nighttime entertainment that combines Japan’s unique sense of personal space, the immersive atmosphere of private rooms, and a warm, welcoming ambiance.
Nukunuku values the following five things:
At Nukunuku, rather than bringing everything within close view, we use the term “glimpsing” to describe the Japanese sense of distance—enjoying the atmosphere from a separate space.
Visitors enter a private booth and watch the performance through a one-way mirror. The defining feature of the "Nukunuku" experience is that visitors do not come into direct contact with the cast, allowing them to focus entirely on eye contact and the atmosphere.
Nukunuku isn't the kind of venue where a large audience watches the stage from the same seating area. Since you watch the performance from a private booth designed for a single person, you can enjoy the show at your own pace without worrying about those around you.
